She's Terrable 🏳️‍⚧️🐇✍️🔞

Despite all my growth inmy life. I am still a deeply traumatized individual haunted by her past. Echoes in my unconscious motions, reactions and decisions that make me second guess my reality. I remember is the 'good' times when I was distracted, my body won't forget the pain. It won't let me go.

Consciously I am actively detaching myself from the toxic environment that I came from. Especially the realms of forced masculinity that I tried to take as lessons. Now I need literal unlearning of conditioning in such cases. My mind believes I can completely define myself...my body doesn't agree.

My current lesson is on "Rituals of Memory" by Kimberly Blaeser, a wonderful piece about the fuzzy nature of memory. Which is a lil tough for me as currently I'm therapeutically stuck in my past. This question from the curriculum hit me right in the heart. How do you feel? Can we disconnect?

Well I just had a dysphoric moment because my partner tried to dance with me. But my stupid cotillion programming made my body act all wrong, trying to dance all wrong in the wrong role before anxiety and dysphoria made me lock up before I started crying. More things to unlearn and relearn to exist.
