Worst part is he didn't used to be like this, at least not nearly as vehemently. But ever since he got back on Facebook like over the last year or so he's seemingly lost every shred of self-awareness, and it hurts me so much to watch.

I want to still love my father but a lot of the shit he's saying lately unfortunately has some serious bigoted undertones. And this mocking tone he takes when talking about some groups REALLY does not help me feel any better about it.

I don't wanna hold any ill will towards my father - despite his VERY antiquated world views - but when he dismisses these events as childish and attention seeking (which is why he cares i guess??) I just can't help but get a little frustrated with him
