A comic featuring an interaction between me and fursuiter Gale Frostbane Saturday, January 17: Day 2 of ANE. I call over Gale to ask for a picture, which I do. I then sheepishly ask for a hug, my tail curling around my legs.

I blush as Gale spreads her arms out in a warm embrace. I come in for a short light hug, thanking her for it. I back away expecting that to be it. But she grabs my arms and tells me to hang on a second.

Gale explains that she loves longer hugs, still holding my arms. In my thoughts, I am in a state of gay panic, because Gale is a very pretty person and I am just some girl she doesn't even know. She asks if she wants to try it again and I agree.

We hug again, this time, a longer tighter embrace. I can't help but laugh. But in my thoughts, I am at the point of tears because of how sweet this interaction was.

A lesson in hugging.

My interaction with @galefrostbane.bsky.social at ANE this year was brief but I will never ever forget it.
