Always liked this photo of the Red Arrows I took around 1995 - it only came about due to a camera glitch 😂 The original pic was actually 90° ccw, but a touch of shutter drag on my #OlympusOM1 caused some unexpected gradation

Those are more or less the exposures I used - these are all the -1 shots, either 1/15th @ f11 or 1/30th @ f8, but all needed another -2.5/3 stops in Silverfast. As you say, probably filter variance (maybe dev time was also a bit too long) but still very recoverable

Shot using a Nikon F3, Tamron 24mm f2.5, Kood IR720 filter, and developed in Ilfosol 3 for 14 mins at 20°. Scanned on my Plustek OpticFilm 8200i where the exposures were then adjusted

Experimenting with infrared - I’ve never used it before. I read up on the net first regarding how to expose with an IR720 filter, general consensus is +6 stops; however, with bracketing I found even +5 was too much. Next time I’ll start at a baseline of +4

Yesterday I rediscovered some old 35mm slides from about 30 years ago - apparently I had a thing about shooting car noses at a particular angle 😂
Camera was possibly and Olympus OM1, I’m guessing with the Zuiko 50mm f1.8… film was Jessops brand 🎞️
