hey - some things that have worked for me:

- visual thinking: diagrams + colourful postits on a board
- fastidious task lists - daily goals kept in sight
- noise cancelling earbuds - even if I'm alone in silence
- pomodoros
- journaling and meditation, to improve self-monitoring

any suggestions?
