Trump keeps mentioning the hatred between two leaders engaged in a life-and-death struggle as if it's something remarkable and anathema to his very peaceful and reasonable nature.

Of course, Zelensky didn't have a choice. He has been forced into this spine bending exericse by the frightful weakness his European allies.

This weakness grew under the erstwhile sanctuary of the US army but today, ironically, persists behind the cover of the Ukrainian refusal to surrender. (End)
