03.12.2024 00:04 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I mean, isn't it possible that LLMs could just be better at reading scientific abstracts? Not necessarily better at predicting neuroscience results?
29.11.2024 21:45 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0And as an extension to this, I've heard anecdotally that debugging "questionable" AI generated code can take just as long as writing it from scratch.

First, I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to respond.

You're definitely more well connected than someone in my position, but the assumption of "of course they can" isnt quite the shared and dominant sense that I've been getting.

It highlights how skill sets translate across disciplines and how attacking a problem as an outsider may yield unexpected results. Our findings indicate positive efficiency gains but also a worrisome anchoring bias that colors the final analysis.
We hope that our study can add meaningful evidence to this ongoing global dialogue. Read the paper for details!
