New game from the developers of Astalon is out today!
Mita Ryūsuke returns with more character designs, and this time these crazy bastards were able to get permission to sneak a Mink cameo in there.
Please let this be one small step towards getting a new Dragon Half game. PLEASE I WOULD DO ANYTHING.

I actually really like Lake Mungo. It's essentially a very slow buildup to one of the most effective jumpscares I've ever been a victim of.

I would disagree that it isn't grounded in reality though. Its story is less about a spoopy goast and more about the different ways people grieve.

I haven't. Honestly I'm not terribly familiar with the local gamedev scene apart from knowing a few people. I only know about the Noble Robot offices because a friend and I have been tinkering with a Playdate game idea.

I think we live in the same city, actually. So I could always just drop it off sometime if you decide you want it.
I'm a huge fan of Myst-likes and multimedia CD-ROMs in general so I have quite the eclectic collection of this stuff.

I have two copies of the official strategy guide if you need one.

Inbelievable! Unconceivable! But it didn't matter. AntiBubzia on the other world was doing the precisely exact same thing backwards to cancel out Bubzia's completed run every freaking time.

If you want a so-bad-its-good Godzilla movie then I'd recommend Godzilla vs. Megalon. It was my first Godzilla movie as a kid and I remember loving it... Only to grow up and learn that everybody else hated it.

It has Gigan and Jet Jaguar in it though so all the haters can blow it out their asses.

Bomberman 64 can be a deviously cruel game if you're going for 100% completion (all costume pieces, gold cards, true ending, etc.) but good lord is it ever one of the best designed games on the N64 in nearly every category.

What I want to know is: Where's my Chameleon Twist critical reappraisal?

Starting off new year great! My Tamagotchi died tonight because I left her with the in-game sitter this morning and forgot to pick her up before 6 PM. Three hours later and I guess that was enough to make her kill herself.

I was refreshing my memory on the various Rockman X Carddass series because I remembered them being utterly bonkers nonsense (complimentary) and I had somehow forgotten there was a villain duo named "Confuse A Stoner".

You can actually switch to a first-person view in the PS2/Wii remake, though the remake's controls were designed for third-person so there's a bit of weirdness there.

I honestly like the remake's feel and unique spin on the original version, though I understand I'm in the minority there.

I'm a weirdo who likes both the original Saturn/PS1 version and the PS2/Wii remake, so it makes me sad to see people dump on the remake all the time. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.

That said, if given the choice I would chose the original over the remake just for the vibes.

less uwu indie publishers, more collectives. Grab a bunch of friends making games similar to yours, make a single social account for promotion, and share the burden of Posting. Bundle them together. Promote each other and do less work at the same time
