Extermination! I love that game. It's one of those *really early* PS2 games that feels like a PS1 game in spirit.
I'm curious how different the Japanese version is considering the European and North American versions had huge changes between them.

Nathan Austin, the guy who portrayed the PriceMaster, passed away a few years ago, sadly. He will forever live on as an avant-garde comedic performance art legend.

Digimon World 4 is good mindless fun with friends. It's basically Gauntlet: Dark Legacy but with Digimon.

Well, it's a budget game in spirit. I feel like they blew their entire budget on designing the main character and giving her motion capture, and then had to quickly slap a rudimentary game around it at the finish line.

Not really a "bad" game. I was just expecting it to be more like a sci-fi Devil May Cry when instead it was a linear and monotonous arcade game. The main campaign is extremely short, but there's incentive to replay with unlockable outfits with different stats and abilities. It's a budget game.

I bought P.N.03 shortly after launch because I saw previews of it in Nintendo Power and thought it looked cool. I was immensely disappointed but stuck with it through multiple playthroughs due to sunk cost fallacy. I've warmed up to it over the years. You just gotta be in the right mood for it.

People forget that Vincent existed in Silent Hill 3. He was both "sexy" and darkly comedic in a Jeff Goldblum kinda way.

And let's not forget how the main villain of Silent Hill 4 was basically just a buff version of Kurt Cobain. Sexy in that grunge, Gen X, dangerous-feeling way.

I really wanted one of these but my parents refused. Too expensive for them plus they thought all mail-order stuff was a scam. Different times.

I did eventually get a ceramic pendant ocarina from somewhere I don't remember, but it ended up shattering. I still have the pieces in storage somewhere.

Different Japanese folklore horror game, but my 'tism really liked how Siren handled its journal/files mechanic. It kept track of *everything* you collected and experienced in meticulous detail, up to and including its overly-complicated timeline of events.

Dark Tales: From the Lost Soul is one of those games that I'm desperately hoping gets an English translation someday because everything about its style and presentation is excellent.

Evolution is such a great little dungeon crawler series and I really hope Sting eventually rereleases them in some sort of definitive collection.
They feel underrated even for Sting RPGs, though I can't say I blame people for disliking how much of a tedious grind they can be. I love 'em though.
