Had it been released in’82 it would have been a great album too, though I see Bruce’s point. The bleakness and feel of the original demos is lost here. A very different experience.
Exciting though!

(1/2) Listened to Electric Nebraska. First impression: killer, energizing, vibrant. Lots of songs with almost a punk rockabilly feel (think of Stand on It, Pink Cadillac…).

“Brendan Byrne Arena 1981”, released yesterday, features the July 6th concert, with a great version of Stevie’s classic “I Don’t Want to Go Home” plus “Racing in the Street”, “Follow that Dream” and “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out”.
