People already talk about Cali Liberals having a certain temperament to them (others would say inhumanity) and Newsom reflects that, and having him into a higher office of power maybe the biggest exoneration of the view both parties are the same.

While the latter half I'll agree to, I don't think he is a classic dem. He's much more vacuous and career-driven, the entitlement is there but so is the will to eat a puppy and fist fight the homeless if it'll improve his electability. I think he's worse, it's hard to overstate the danger.
