Rain and a CCW loop at night. Navigation is not going to be fun. I guess on the plus side this means that anyone who makes it to loop 3 will have an easier time making a fun run. Always look on the bright side- especially in the rain, at night, at Barkley...

Matt Bixley (NZ, friend of Greig, actually ran Barkley before Greig did) is there, along with Chris Roberts.

That was from #MMT100. I am standing between Limacher and Bur. Limacher later claimed we had never met. To your point, there are now manned aid stations every 5-6 miles at #BM100; the tables are just different.

At least it's daytime, and the runner doesn't have to stand in the road in the dark and shine a light on his face "to show that I am kind..." Much less creepy for the locals this way.

Almost 22 hours to not complete one loop. The Barkley gods are making up for their benevolence the last two years...

Chris Fisher and Thomas Calmettes both have dropped out on Loop 2 at Bald Knob. Though seemingly about a hundred yards apart, they did not see each other. Seven runners remain on Loop 2; five remain on Loop 1. #BM100

Just under an hour slower than the first lap for Greig and Jared last year (8:46-ish,) and 1:15-ish slower than Jasmin's first lap (8:30-ish) last year. This isn't looking good.
