I attended at my first team tournament ever (and my third tournament in total) a few weeks ago. I saw it as a learning opportunity, I was by far the most unexperienced tournament fencer of all the participants but I found some new friends in this hall which I might see from time to time next year.

Yesterday I went bouldering with fellow students, for the first time since October of last year.
It was a lot of fun, and I definitely want to go more often again, but my body hates me for it now.
Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to also go to the "Fit for Fencing" training on the same day xD

This weekend I will attend at the Dreynevent, my first international HEMA event. I hope that I will be able to do some fencing, even though my right knee started to hurt since this week. Anyway I'm sure that I will have a good time there :)

It's fine, I'm still optimistic that things will become better this year. 2025 still has eleven months left! xD

First my car urgently needs a bigger repair which costs about 1500€, then I found out that I am not allowed to apply for the "Selbsterhalter" scholarship and now my notebook is in for repair with the suspicion that the motherboard is broken.

2025 is becoming a stressful and expensive year 🥲

The good old exam stress at the end of the semester, I almost missed it 🥲

Yesterday I had my first HEMA training since being sick for almost three weeks. And damn, I'm so happy that the last symptoms are barely noticeable anymore. A bit of coughing when doing harder exercises was everything that's left from being sick. So yay! :D

Day 7 of "being sicker than ever since moving to Graz":
It's getting better! I cough like crazy and it sounds incredibly gritty but I can finally do smaller things and PC tasks!
Working yesterday (as a cutter on site) was not the best idea but these are the things you have to do as a freelancer.

"How are your holidays so far?"
"Well, I'm lying in bed, cuddling dogs, eating cake and other delicious food while coughing my head off and blowing what feels like a kilo of snot out of my nose every day. So...could be worse I guess." ^^

December 2024:

June 2024: "Oh! There is this Media Design master study in Graz where you can finally get your Master degree! And as a full-time freelancer you can easily manage your jobs while doing a full-time study and keep on doing sports 4-5x/week! Today is the last day to sign up for it, so yolo let's do it!"

At least there are also some pretty cool add-ons Past-Tsesi never expected. I turned into a buffed Muscle Mommy that can cary their partners on their shoulder and I teach other people historical sword fighting.

But then there are also these silly add-ons I never wished for, like crippling anxiety, month-long episodes of depression or being broke af. xD

It's so funny how the 15 year old Tsesi imagined their future self and how many of these expectations Present-Tsesi actually fulfills. Like, living in a big city, working as a freelance photographer and video producer, finally wearing oddly cool clothes or having a white shepherd by my side.

This. So much this.

My theory until now is that I brought my equip into the stairwell, downstairs to the basement room and then something must have happened that I did not finish that task....and somehow forgot about it (like I do a lot when being interrupted)?
In moments like this I hate my brain so much :/

So I'm sure that my equipment came back with me because all the things that I use to keep in my apartment are at home and I would have noticed if my equip that is stored in the cellar was not in the car. But I literally turned my (not that big) apartment as well as my cellar upside down.
