I don't think "genre" is a word that can have a pure opposite, but I will say that regarding pop/rock music, I use "post-genre" to indicate musics that combine or defy genres in a non-goofy, non-ironic (or post-ironic) way.

Everybody has their opinion on em dashes, but I'm all about – and I'm not kidding – the en dash.
