I would say the lack of an algorithm is what keeps people away. But Bluesky sells itself on not heavily pushing algorithms.

It is truly terrible. I get that it's a "character" song like but it does NOT come across at all. It's too catchy and jaunty for the subject matter and just feels absolutely gross, even for the time.

I know. That would be ideal to have an UltraStudio. But that's just not part of this setup, I'm sorry. Working with some constraints here.

I want to know what the best options would be for this particular setup.

For this project, 18.6 is the newest available unfortunately.

I've not worked on the footage yet. I want to set the color space up properly first so when I deliver, it'll work properly.

What are your suggestions for each of those questions that you've posed?

Should I just have two separate projects? One for web with Gamma 2.2 and one for cinema with 2.4?

But 709-A output is just for Mac, right? Because it has a much lower gamma of 1.9. Whereas most of the views will be on Windows computers and smartphones/TVs.

So do I use Gamma 2.4 across the board?

Unfortunately, I cannot use Resolve YRGB Color Managed because in versions before v19, it is not properly compatible with Fusion, and I'm currently working with v18.6.

So I am kinda forced to use CSTs.

Colorist friends. I'm working on an Apple monitor in DaVinci Resolve 18.6. But the majority of viewers will be on non-Apple devices on Vimeo.

So, what color space do I export to? Do I duplicate the project and export a Rec. 709 Gamma 2.4 version for cinema and an sRGB version for Vimeo? Help!!!!!
