I do feel that AMC has to carry some of the blame, since they decided to air it right at the cut-off for last year's Emmy's (I believe by a couple episodes).

The timing was just brutal, especially for a show that already had an uphill battle to fight for award recognition, due to it's "genre".

It still blows my mind that Interview with the Vampire was shut out of all major Emmy categories.

Season 2 was a showcase of some of the best acting, cinematography, directing, production & storytelling that has aired on cable, streaming or network as of late.

The show is a beautiful masterpiece.

I'm really enjoying Dexter: Resurrection, but the detective seems like a cheap knock of Holly Gibney (Stephen King character, best known for the Mr. Mercedes trilogy, but also The Outsider and several other SK stories).

It seems so blatant, that I'm kinda stunned with how similar they made her.

I think about how he revived a show that had failed miserably in it's first couple of iterations & was then off the air for 10 years.

He had, what looked like a shoestring budget in Samoa for S1(S4) of the present run and has since eclipsed US Survivor as the best current version of the game.

I'm crushed seeing JLP's Insta post confirming that Channel 10 AU axed him.

Australian Survivor will ultimately fail without JLP, regardless who may actually be taking over. Rumor is David G., who I love, but it feels like a bit of a betrayal to take that gig.

Yeah I crossed the border illegally, long story short my passport got lost so l had no choice but to cross illegally. For close to over a year I had no legal status, and still every morning got up to work and never felt scared of being deported. 30 years later and now a US citizen having voted in the last 5 elections for US President. Now I do feel threatened and even worried at times knowing I can get stopped and deported just because the way I look with no questions asked. Go ahead deport me, it is very easy to find me I will be fine. But there's others that won't be, there's families of innocent people not criminals, those criminals are not being bothered by ICE or any other government agency. I have two adult kids that are born US citizens that "look illegal" brown and proud like me, are they safe? Are they ok to walk around without feeling threatened by what's going on under this administration? Is your family ok? Are you ok with all this nonsense?
