Bowls, Rugby, Scotland and Falkirk F.C. Not necessarily in that order. Work on the Gas.

They’ve spent nearly two billion since Ferguson retired and they look further away than ever. It’s amazing.

YouTube video by London Records Blancmange - The Day Before You Came (Top Of The Pops 1984)

RIP Stephen Luscombe. I saw Blancmange in 1983 and they were fabulous. One of the great singles bands driven by Stephen's keyboard wizardry. This remains one of my favourite TOTP performances.

Turn over from the Horse racing to the Rugby. Scotland lassie takes a goal line drop out, French scrum half bangs a drop goal straight back from 30 something yards. Turns back to the Horses. Jinx.

Original painting is β€˜Worn out’ by Hans Anderson Brendekilde. Rachel Reeves, Darren Jones and Starmer stand over a collapsed/dead labourer. Reeves holds a sign saying β€˜just get a Saturday job’ - in reference to Jones’s comments, comparing disability benefits to pocket money and Saturday jobs. In the background Jim Ratcliffe, James Dyson, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Dido Harding bury billions of pounds.

If there needs to be further evidence of how the political parties in our system have long given up on democracy and representation of their citizens, and solely exist to rip us off, here it is.

The Aurora Borealis and the Milky Way. Taken half way up Cairngorm mountain, which sounds impressive right? Until you realise that you can actually drive almost half way up. 😁

Goodnight #bluesky enjoy the rest of your day, evening, night and stay safe.

I think our frustration builds up whilst listening to other nations media which in turn shows up BBC Scotland coverage for the weak effort it is. 2 x 40mins podcasts per week during the six nations which largely focus on how we can fail rather than how we'll go out and put in a performance.

I just had a listen and it was Alex Cuthbert who had a go the most as far as I made out. Didn't think GRO was over critical at all. Cuthbert went on about project players and Townsend not winning anything.

Inheritance tax was paid on just over 4% of estates last year.

I won’t have to pay it on my estate.

Odds are the overwhelming majority of people reading this won’t pay it.

I tell you who will though.

Rupert Lowe, his mate Nigel, Richard Tice & the rest.

Self interest much?

Vance claims he wasn't referring to the UK & France.

So which country was he referring to?

Germany, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Spain, Romania, Netherlands, Czechia, Norway, Estonia, Sweden, Latvia, Finland, Portugal, Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovakia, Lithuania all fought in Afghanistan.

What an astonishing own goal by Badenoch. Especially after her own shadow Defence Secretary has called the comments "deeply disrespectful". Even Farage had to condemn them.

Turns out patriotism is more than wearing a union flag jacket. Clowns. ~AA

English craves failure. It suits his journalist instinct. Tom uses sound bites and occasional cheap shots whilst covering Scottish football in the same manner. Johnnie Beattie (jnr) is miles better as an analyst with a far wider experience of rugby. BBC Scotland TV coverage is non existent to boot.

Thames Water, which is over Β£16 BILLION in debt, has just been granted a Β£3 billion rescue loan. Last December it was still paying fat dividends to bosses and shareholders.

This corporate greed and entitlement needs to be stopped.

As I’ve said before: It’s fucking WATER.
