One of the more prominent glitch effects is the splitting of the few bright light sources into prismatic strips; this effect is concentrated around one window of the building and the backlit edges of an awning over the entryway—held up by two thin metal poles. In the foreground, the surface of an asphalt parking lot gleams with puddles of moisture lit by the same bright light behind the awning, and these muted light effects too are split into dimmer jagged prisms of color. A chain link fence behind the building and some features of the signage and entryway are glitched horizontally into distorted shapes, and a laser-bright beam of concentrated blue light is beaming upward or lancing downward in the upper left corner of the frame, appearing to strike (or emanate from) the roof of the building. The entire dark scene—suffused in the eerie green glow and punctuated by the blue beam and few prismatic color- and structure-glitches—is warped into the shape of an old CRT TV screen, and framed with a glowing dark green border.

1st glance my brain tried to conjure “Ben & Jerry’s” out of the text/pic juxtaposition and started expecting the art to be some wild take on a flavor concept

love the color choices here and how they’re composed

In the foreground, a rotting stump is framed. Its top had splintered open in the middle, creating a V-shaped gap inside which shelves of orange fungus are growing in close clusters another bundle of the same is growing below the point of the V, on one of the thick “legs” (roots) of the stump. It is backlit and framed by a sunny forest background, a service road visible in the distance and a blue gap of sky peeking through the canopy above and to the right of the stump.

it’s the reward for walking up a whole lotta wooden steps; sadly no accessible way up there, but the views from the parking lot are also gorgeous.

On a roughly square canvas, the abstractly rendered torso and head of a humanoid figure appears to be surging, leaning, leaping, or climbing (hoisting itself over something) from left to right, it’s arms spread out at the shoulders and then bent downward at the elbows at 90° in an aggressive posture. The torso and arms are mostly solid magenta fading into some orange at the forearms. The hands are invisible, cut off below the bottom of the frame. The head appears to be bald and the skin is a sickly green color with eyes and mouth ringed in pink and white. The facial expression appears angry or strained, or straining with effort or rage (or both). The background behind the figure is mostly dark, but streaks of yellow-orange from above and blue-green from below appear superimposed on both figure and background as if they are light effects or perhaps a kind of diaphanous barrier the figure is thrusting against or bursting through.

Tall portrait oriented canvas with a flower taking up the bottom half and an unfolding solar eclipse in the top half. The flower is in the foreground, rendered in layers of sketched and scratched strokes of varying colors, creating at times a mild iridescent effect. The edge of the dark or on the left that is facing this light on the right is itself illuminated with a yellow green halo at the edge.

Simple collage of two photos and some colorful ink-drawing.
