On Saturday I picked up David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust The Motion Picture on used vinyl. I sold my copy years ago for some stupid reason.
When I took out disc 1, out fell a Christmas card from Diane to Maureen from '83.
I'm thinking about Diane & Maureen and hope that they're doing well.

I'm contesting whether or not it was a catch. I, like you, have seen numerous angles and there is no conclusive evidence one way or the other. I saw the defender rip the ball out of his hands with his back on the turf.
You used the word "obvious" which is a stretch.

With that said, it was a bad coaching decision to go for it all on that play. The Bills hadn't punted all day and were effectively moving the ball. Third and 11 they should have continued to methodically move the ball into FG position.

4 hands on the ball when Cooks' back hits the turf.
"Tie" to the offense always ... except on that play.
It wasn't "obvious" which is the debate over officiating & what is & isn't a catch is still raging.
