Whale shark hotspot discovered along the Great Barrier Reef
The whale shark β a shark, not a whale β is the largest fish in the world, roughly the length of a city bus. Whale sharks (Rhincodon typus), which live in warm seas, are known as majestic creatures.β¦

Whale sharks are the largest fish in the world and are endangered.
There are only about 30 sites worldwide where theyβre known to aggregate β and scientists have finally identified one of them.
The finding is significant for whale shark research and conservation efforts, experts said.
