Sorry for disappearing again. A lot is happening IRL that has been causing a lot of stress and deteriorating my mental health further than I'd like to admit.
Anyways, I'm going to try and be more active here, but I can't make any promises.

Went to a forest to celebrate Friday the 13th. It was so nice, so relaxing, & I felt like I could finally breathe. Though we left earlier than I wanted because my wife & daughter were too tired to keep going.
Oh, I also kissed a tree that caressed my face & a boulder that I shared a memory with.

I used to have a candle shop, but I had to shut it down a couple of years ago.
I'm hoping to reopen it within the next couple of years, this time with more being sold than just candles; such as, crotched gifts, healing salves, tea blends, and jewelry (made by my daughter).

There's an excessive heat warning happening in my area right now and I'm not allowed to have the AC on or else my electric bill will be doubled, so I am dying.

Last night a friend asked me if I knew how to write.
I said that I don't really know.
And that answer was eating at me all night.
So now I'm writing a short horror monster romance story to learn whether or not I know how to write.

Yes, I'm aware that it's almost 3 in the morning, but just one more chapter...

I made a Beltane herbal blend in my cauldron, lit it on fire, and watched the flames dance until they nestled below the ashes and slept.
It was so soothing.
I thought about recording, but the alluring dances of the flames kept me still and in awe of their beauty.
