Today is St John’s Day. This week is my final week on placement @stjohnscardiff.bsky.social. My prayer today is for the continued witness and mission of that place on this their patronal feast.

Had a few really valuable days being alongside the chaplains at @cavuhb.bsky.social this week and last. They do such amazing work supporting people through some of life’s hardest moments.

I can’t face the effort and energy that will require just yet! Last year, out of pure laziness they stayed up until Candlemas #pious 😂

Preaching tomorrow evening on the Wedding at Cana, and thinking about transformation. Asking the question, “how will you be transformed this year?”

A magical evening at St John’s this evening for Nine Lessons and Carols. Great to welcome so many people to church this evening!

Had such a laugh and a giggle at St Padarn’s Christmas party last night. Very fortunate to be surrounded by some fabulous friends!

Totally agree!! We are all too quick to work in our own little boxes, and not work collegiately. Working together takes a lot of work, patience and acceptance.

This doesn’t answer your question… but to enable good evangelism now, do we need to slimline the number of buildings that we are custodians off? I’m a believer of doing things well, but are we able to do that if we’re spread too thinly?

Yesterday Llandaff Centre of Mission celebrated their Christingle service at St John the Baptist, Cardiff City Centre. It was a truly joyful reminder of the light each and every one of us brings to the world.

Lovely evening having Carols in the Pub with fellow ordinands from college. Spreading Christmas cheer throughout Llandaff!

I love Dublin! When I lived in North Wales would often jump onto the ferry.
