I wrote a 'Stay A While' conversation that'll be in Midnight next week referencing the short story, without originally knowing they were doing this animated short.
When I submitted it for Narrative review, it instantly got a green light bc of how well it played off of the animation.

In 2023, I managed to slip out before the layoffs hit me, and landed a new role in 2 business days.
In 2024, I managed to secure a new role in 31 days, leaving 3 weeks before those layoffs hit.
Unfortunately, I couldn't keep dancing through the lightning strikes.
I'm now looking for work.
