I have to admit that my wife and I are totally in love with #MurdochMysteries, which has, from season one and subsequently seasons captured the perfect blend of history, comedy and even sci-fi. All involved can be proud of this piece of TV history. 🇨🇦

I thought it was interesting that the most recent season of Murdoch Mysteries had an episode where the B plot was NIMBYs trying to prevent an apartment building being built in their single-family neighborhood. We need more of that in US entertainment.

Ok it ran on city for 5. The 5th season was run in its entirety on CBC so the shows been on the CBC for 14 years. Not 18, mea culpa… Still, when linear ratings mattered it’s never been lower that top 3, something it never was on City
