"Rafa" is a Merced county farm worker. He does 2 shifts in 2 different jobs as rent is so expensive. He harvests tomatoes in the am. Then he sorts sweet potatoes under a hot sun - working 13 hours total. He worries about driving home because of lack of sleep. #WeFeedYou

What matters is that algorithms are being designed by communities for those same communities.

I’ve been working on the algorithms for the @medsky.social specialty feeds for over a year, and the difference between then and now is staggering.

We now have:
• 70+ feeds
• Hundreds of professional societies and journals
• Several thousand HCW accounts

I’m really proud of how far we’ve come.

No problem! The tool I used only finds people with the distinction in their account name, FYI. But I'll go ahead and add you to the list as well.

Made some updates to the #Medsky curation lists over the last few days.

Any physicians with FAAFP, FACS, FAAP, FACG, FACP, FACC, FACE, FACOG, FAMIA, and other specialty distinctions in their names will have posts included in their specialty feeds on @medsky.social as well as the main feed.
