Throwback: Pistol Pete Higham, in the studio, absolutely transforming 'Daydreaming' with his surging brass line.
The man with the horn, indeed.
What a guy.
Next Club Shipwrecked freebie to include isolated cello track you say? 🤔
28.01.2026 20:19 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I have so many friends there, and was hoping to head back to New Orleans in the spring, but not a chance I would now. It went from the film ‘Idiocracy’ to ‘Schindler’s List’ in a heartbeat. Now I hope for ‘Downfall’ 🙏

26.01.2026 18:50 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0…and a distinct sense of freedom for us kids, and lack of ridiculous paranoia on the part of parents, that has seeped in today.
Anyway, I searched for more information on the project and learned about poor Robert. One of the other kids was a victim to gang violence too. Life eh?
No, not at all. Because of my love and affinity for the city, I came across Paul’s amazing book long after the exhibition. The photos are incredible, and take me back to the area my grandparents lived in north Belfast, where I spent a lot of my weekends. The terrace houses, doors open, community….
