the image texture for her face used to be mirrored, giving a perfectly symmetrical result.

but now both sides need to be painted, and blender's image editor does not provide a mirroring function.

mirroring in GIMP works but is too slow and requires a lot of guess and check work.

help appreciated

day 3. fell behind schedule bc of holidays etc. uv mapping was done a few days ago and the result is sufficient.

she's in #vrchat. it shouldn't have taken this long to come to this conclusion, but having a fully modeled and rigged character in blender is an easy path to unity and vrchat.

can't transfer blender shaders to unity so it doesn't look nearly as good.
