This half-armour was made for the tilt - a popular pastime for noblemen in about 1600, involving combat on horseback. Only the upper part of the body required protection. The breastplate had an attachment for a lance-rest and a reinforcing plate (grandguard) for the left shoulder. Underneath the armour a soft arming-doublet protected the skin from the hard metal and also provided some warmth. Sorry if this seems ranty/venty but I constantly see artists exploiting other artists and it's just, gross. No, you aren't getting a colored fullbody for only $10. If you can't afford to pay an artist fairly, wait until you can or make the art in question yourself, instead of screwing all of us over

7-days left to pay my phone bill and still haven't gotten a single comm or sold that adopt, despite already underpricing myself (based on average $15 USD minimum wage). Being verbally rejected twice is also extremely discouraging, as art is my sole source of income.
