Trump just announced that the 25% tariffs on all goods coming in from Canada will take place Feb 1st. Meaning retaliatory tariffs and energy being cut off from Canada to the US. Billionaires trying to pit two countries against each other at the cost of workers.

We need to unite against the elites

I can't help but think the $1Bs see TT creators losing access to that income as a feature, not a bug. Too many were becoming a little too self-sufficient and needed to be bought to heel. More self-sufficient economically and also in narratives they accept. Not the sole explanation but one of many.
