Update I finished the anime! This is one of the few times I rate anime and this is a 10/10! Finding out that Taro Umebayashi (did sone singles for Yuri on Ice) composed the soundtrack was a nice treat, I’m so excited for season 2 when it comes out! I wonder how I’ll the manga will end

Going to end my thoughts with recs tht are somewhat similar at least in vibes to tshd:
-I Want to Hold Aono Kun So Badly I Could Die (not bl, but small town/village horror)
-Hwacha (bl manhwa, short, deals more with cults)
-6 to 7 (bl manga, not small town)
-Common Sense Monster (gl manga)

Just finished the first episode of The Summer Hikaru Died! I don’t normally watch anime adaptions of manga I’ve read but I’m glad I gave this a try! The production quality is insane and I’m loving the artistic choices made here, the captured the eeriness and unease of small town/village horror

To be hero x’a ending theme is so catchy, I’m always humming it under my breath, actually the soundtrack itself is pretty solid

It’s raining where I’m at so I guess I’ll put a pause on to be hero x and finally start Town of Nie and at least get Mio or Asuku’s route out of the way

It was a tie between Yanagi and Limbo for husband material, but then I remembered he could cook and the answer was clear😌

Finally finished it! Took me sometime to pick a number 1 but then I got enlightened🤩

I thought luckydog1’s art style seemed familiar, it’s the same artist as Hana Awase!

I’m also glad it was officially announced so I’ll be able to get a physical copy next year, I really hope it gets a special edition

Finished my second danmei of the year so far, and I really enjoyed it! I read the author’s other work a few years ago, but this one will leave a lasting impression, the translators did an amazing job, the prose was flowy and poetic and I already have some quotes engraved in my memory

This almost reminds me of a manhwa I read except the ML was also a yandere for MC so seeing his actions contradict his words was kinda funny😂

Also I forgot to mention, it’s currently on sale on the eshop for 50% until early tomorrow morning, and it has a demo on switch you can try to get a feel for the story (it starts slow but it does pick up later)
