I found them. The tapes that traumatized me when I was trying to record Pokemon episodes.

To be clear this is my dad's. And we no longer have a VHS.

I am doing my parents a big favor and trying to clean out their storage. I am finding relics of a past forgotten.

This is my mom's cat, Winter. Lil' spicy at first but started to warm up to me. I got a package and bestowed upon him a gift of his own.

Update: I had to reinstall BATDR for dialog scripts and no, the game does not have the tint I see in my recordings, which is more likely an OBS setting I did. Good thing I learned how to fix it!

Another example. Going through the footage I was like, "Ya know, this looking too purple for my liking. Were bringing sepia back."

The top images are in reverse. When I added the yellow color it blew out the lights and became blinding so dialed down the highlights.

Color grading is my new favorite hobby. Audio is a whole different kind of beast I'll understand...one day.

Been back in the Philippines for a while. My joy was short-lived but I am undeterred.

I'm bringing the whole ass desktop in my luggage cause I'm weak. Just praying it'll make it.

I'm moving back to the Philippines to focus on studying again. Guam wasn't working out. Plan on staying as short as possible, but the minimum would be 6 months. I don't know where I'll go after that. The US is not looking very good right now.

I wished to make this space more focused on art and such but I'm in the middle of an unplanned turning point in my life and I'd like a place to keep friends updated.

I don't think it makes me smarter than everyone else, but it introduces me to subjects I would never in a million years think to do under normal circumstances. So I have an approximate knowledge of everything while knowing nothing of everyday consumerism.

I kind of want to gush about games. I love them, both from an artistic and narrative standpoint. It tickles the learning centers in your brain and challenge you in ways where you'd never be challenged. You know how kids play with Legos? I get the same stimulus playing world building games.
