These words form the shape of the tree: I wrote a poem in the shape of a Christmas tree but then forgot to water it and only a few days later there And these words are distributed around the base of my poem 'tree' as if they've fallen off it: were words all over the carpet

Today’s poem is called ‘Needles’.

i have secured funding to run a summer school for secondary school teachers on language and social in/justice. it'll be over 3 days and involve teachers engaging with linguistic justice theory and applying this to practice. more details soon but feel free to express interest!💜

Thinking of giving Oracy and Oracy Education the attention it’s always deserved? One place to start might be to listen to the different voices in school, adults and children (similar to the UK Oracy Commission approach) to establish viewpoints, experiences, and knowledge.
