Thanks for calling attention to this. TX has long been home to one of the most inequitable school funding schemes in the nation. Abbott & cronies are finally succeeding at taking the game to the next level & won’t stop until education is only available to the wealthy & white.

I’m at a relatively liberal institution that tends to attract liberal students, and I’ve noticed similar trends among white male students (not so among women or students of color). What’s concerning to me is the WM students seem to believe they’re engaging in legitimate debate, not disinformation.

More evidence that US citizens are not safe in this assault on democracy. Two American citizens detained while driving home. Of note: "CBP insists that the incident was routine...that can 'apply for any traveler'.”

Expect to see "detentions" of US citizens become routine under this corrupt regime.

U.S.-born American citizen under ICE hold in Florida after driving from Georgia Juan Carlos Gomez-Lopez is being held even though a county judge found his birth certificate “authentic” and said there wasn’t reason to consider him an “illegal alien.”

Kilmar Abrego Garcia was just the test case - how much can they get away with? Now ICE, at the behest of the entire apparatus hijacking our democracy, is illegally holding a US-born citizen for "driving while brown."
