I'm not completely finished gushing over Sonic CD (never will be btw) but another thing unique to CD is that the badniks get worn out overtime, its best illustrated by that Quardz Quadrant Badnik with the little gun and it can't even shoot you, so it just stands idle and attempts to. So awesome.....

So I still have superstars in the backlog to finish (rage quit so many times at the last boss so i'm just not going to bother right now) but I also want to try out sonic unleashed, it seems interesting with the whole 2 playstyles with base sonic and the werehog but idk where to play it

This is just my opinion but Mecha Sonic is just more intimidating to me than Metalix, obviously the latter has a cooler and unique design but Mecha is TERRIFYING, a true force of nature.

Another reason Sonic CD is such a great game is naturally because the Japanese devs kept sleeping throughout its entire development

okay i know the characters in the emeralds are just there based on the colour and it goes nicely with the green emerald having all the mainline sonic games but i cant help but think sonic just trapped them in there because he would find it funny or something and they're stuck static in expression

I actually couldn't tell you how many lives i lost to this boss my first playthrough of mania, i didnt even know you have a limited window to hit the heavy shinobi so i kept getting hit and was like "wtf?"

yknow all that complaining i had about these asteron badniks, i was really happy to see them return in mania as the throwing stars of the heavy shinobi, quite a hilarious callback but also makes for a pretty challenging boss fight considering you have to avoid these guys and avoid being frozen. GG

I always love this glitch, even though it breaks the game.

If Sonic Mania 2 ever came out i would really hope they'd go full overdrive on new and original zones instead of remaking old ones, there are so many talents in the sonic community and mania already showed us we can get new zones just as cool as the genesis ones, please give us mania 2!

Even imgur images are being blocked for me, even SFW ones. I was literally trying to follow a steam guide weeks back and ALL THE REFERENCE MATERIAL WAS LINKED TO IMGUR THAT I COULDN'T VIEW!

My favorite bug that can consistently happen with time travelling is accidentally being somewhere the moment you time travel that happens to have a wall, so you just get stuck in it and softlocked.
