I have tried to get off social media on my phone to at least relegate it to desktop use. I put my Kindle app where the old Twitter icon used to be and ended up restarting a long-lapsed reading habit instead of further cooking my brain.

My Chicago suburb did not have (as far as I could tell) a single remaining public basketball court on the entire north side of town as of 2024. Pickleball courts galore though. Had to go to the next town over to hoop.
