Big hugs. 🫂 For me, FB is a depressing place of doom scrolling and social comparisons, emotionally triggering articles, the eyes of the current administration, bad faith actors, etc. Sigh.

Nah, some have accounts on here, but a lot went back to FB, which I understand. Appreciate it tho!

I really wish this worked as a better alternative. The thought of going back to FB in order to stay connected is just depressing.

My mental health is in the pits but leaving FB has helped a lot. Feels like it scrambles my thoughts and feelings in extremely unhealthy ways.

Cutting my time on FB to a few minutes a week with the intent of sharing things like GoFundMe(s) that friends post, checking to see how people are doing, and generally seeing if anyone is in need of help, has been eye-opening.

I was far too dependent on it prior to deciding to mostly leave it.

Earlier today, I witnessed my partner's family weaponize politics in an attempt to emotionally manipulate her.

If your family is doing this to you, please understand that it *is* a manipulation tactic meant to make you feel a very specific type of way.
