It is now clear with the arrest of Briana Boston that the establishment’s response to the outcry against health insurance is class warfare. It won’t be me. It won’t be Briana Boston but someone will be next.

A whole Saturday morning gone. Maybe I will get the insulin I need. Maybe.

$700 that I can’t afford so I call around to pharmacies desperately to see if anyone carries this generic insulin. Finally finding a place with a couple boxes so I call my pharmacy to transfer the script but nope the new pharmacy actually has to be the one to call so I called the new pharmacy again.

I placed a pharmacy order last week for insulin I take daily. Pharmacy fails to inform me that they can’t get it. Now I am desperate so I ask if they can fill the identical brand name instead. They cant so I get ahold of the on-call dr to write the script only to find out it is no longer covered…
