People in Syria have been tearing down statues all night; continue to celebrate the collapse of the Assad regime, it is expected that the regime will cease to exist today. Tanks (unknown who) are starting to circle around Assad's palace and regime soldiers are abandoning their posts. #freeSyria

Th plane allegedly carrying Assad dropped from an altitude of over 3,650 meters to 1,070 in minutes, just outside Lebanese airspace north of Akkar. Reportedly Lebanon denied the plane permission to land. Rumours are rife, no confirmation if that was his plane or the fate of those onboard.
