Leaving my heart to bleed
Upon empty pages
You never see my tears
Flowing out in rivers

And my heart withers
Beneath our broken love
Always giving to you
More than you will offer
I mourn you as in death
Each moment you're away

The broken soul
Reaching for help
And struggling
Only to find
She's in their thoughts
And every hand
Folded in prayer
All while she drowns

We were embers
Waiting to burn
The heavens down
With our passion

My birds made a thing

Her tarnished halo falls
Laying at muddied feet
Feathers dropping like tears
Bleeding with every beat
Silence echoes as rain
Her shattered heart freezes
Caught in webs of chaos

The most important touch, which speaks to her heart and soul is that of her mind. 
Will you speak to the calm or the chaos?
Are you afraid of the depths?

That one voice which calmed her inner being was always withheld in her greatest need. The manipulation of her shattered heart, the cause of her retreat into herself. Lost, alone, she cried out with silent words spilling into the crowds of chaos.

The silence feels like violence ringing in my head as an alarm setting me into a panic. Inner voices scream their accusations, caught in echoes of intrusive loops of agony. I hide in the dark where no one can see my tears or hear my cries, far from any helping hand I can never reach.
Alone.
