I get a three pack of cheap reading glasses and leave one in the bedroom, one in the living room, one in my bag. I never remove them from the room (because I can't walk while wearing reading glasses) so there is always a pair nearby.

Those are shown in my time zone, which is 8 hours behind. So those people are logging off at midnight (Kyiv time) and back in at 8 am. (I guess they sleep through тривоги)

I post a lot but I am pretty good at blocking off sleepy time. I'm rarely here past 1 am and don't normally get online until 10 am (I generally get up at 8 am, but I purposely block off a few hours for non-bluesky time.)

Yeah, I agree it's psychological. Ze has no choice but to *look* like he's trying to negotiate without actually agreeing to anything Ukraine doesn't want to agree to. Trump is so fucking stupid that Ze could probably put a lot of irrelevant nonsense in an agreement.

There are further eye-catching proposals. They include that Russia give the occupied Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station to the International Atomic Energy Agency, which would split power 50-50 between Moscow and Kyiv. Ukraine’s army would be capped during peacetime at 800,000 soldiers, 200,000 more than in the US draft.

This from an article about the European counterproposal to the Trump-Putin pact. No one has signed anything yet. I'm surprised Kyiv would agree to the latter. The former is at least much better than what's going on at the power plant now. (russia occupies it)

Some I knew and some I made a judgment call after looking at their profiles. Ye gods there is a lot of just brainless dreck out there, but people slurp it up.

there was one in 2019 and then a different one in 2021. There was a shorter one in 2020, outside for COVID reasons. Only about two hours.

Probably about four hours of it, but in clips. I know I will have to do it. I haven’t even downloaded it. (There are TWO really long press conferences.)
