Roller derby is right there.

Probably easily the highest ratio of trans women in a very very physical sport, for years, and it’s working FINE.

Benching wise, this is something that my league tries to incorporate into our knowledge - faster passes to minimise score differential, having pivots who train jamming and endurance so jams are less likely to run on them, etc etc. trying to effectively use the pass to minimise damage.

While I don't play derby, I do shoe derby and my favourite tactic of star passing is passing straight off the whistle and pretending to still jam as long as possible because no one expects it and quite often it confuses the other jammer cause they don't expect to be made lead.

Today's a bit bittersweet as it was the last time I'd see mum and dad's house, my childhood home. Tomorrow the new owners will move in.

While seeing it was sad, it was nice to remember it as the place where I had so many opportunities to learn and grow.

Hopefully it'll give someone else that

So since I decided to go back to study, my brain is in hyperdrive as part of the reason I wanna study the course I wanna do is because I had a business idea and the study would just help me out so much with getting it in place.

But now I'm coming up with so many different ways I can do that

I just laugh at her as she works out what's happening.

But do you find the bra issue at least a little reaffirming despite being a problem?

Won't be until February but I wanna get out of the funk I'm currently in and learn something completely new to me.

To be fair, my degree was achieved a decade plus ago and I don't work within that field. Refreshing to something new is probably a good thing.

It's derby day!
Time for me to yell and coach, and talk and commentate.

The thing I love most about these days, besides coaching and commentating is catching up with friends from all over the state.

The Mexico v NZ game kept looping the same like 30 seconds over and over; so silent derby is definitely better.

Despite the issues, I'm just happy to be able to watch all the games.

I'm one of the bench coaches for a team in Australia called Gender Ending Story - it's made up of trans, non binary, non gendered, gender fluid and questioning skaters. Considering how many skaters who put their hand up to play, I think you have a point about being the official sport.

My brain is finding things a bit challenging at the moment.

Last Sun I tore my calf muscle at training and got put on some strong painkillers... on Wed I started Ritalin to help the ADHD.

My brain is laser focused because of the Ritalin, but that focus is on sleeping because of the painkillers.
