Much as I've enjoyed the current season, this surface-level contrarianism is why I've gradually stepped away from South Park.

Early stuff like the hate crime/rainforest/sexual harassment episodes prove they have no skin in the game. "Sexual harassment laws are fascism", my ass.

(Also, confession: I didn't even know this game was a thing until this nonsense came out.)

So, let me get this straight: the reviewer makes well-reasoned critiques over the game's AI use and the immediate response is to pearl-clutch over the Metacritic score?

Pathetic. Execs and investors are busy stripping your hobby for parts and some of y'all are more than happy to help them along.

Whatever production time and cost was "saved" by using AI for one of the most human-dependent disciplines in game making was actively obliterated by the act itself, overshadowing the hard work of every single other developer on the project and making this situation impossible to right. WHO KNEW.

What I like about Kirby Air Riders is, that you only ever played Air Ride GC with friends and never knew how good anyone else around the world was. Now, not only can you see there's lots of good City Trial players out there, the game also doesn't make you feel bad for losing, and that's great.
