Instead of watching any of the inauguration events, I took Max to a retirement home today. We joined 3 other teams and spent time with memory care and assisted living residents. The only way I know to counter fear and hatred is with love and kindness.

This sweet woman, a retirement home resident, needed to hug Max yesterday. Max happily obliged. The residents in memory care and assisted living love when we bring our therapy dogs to visit.
