I love this sand idea! I couldn’t believe the rhyzomes (that neighbor said was garbage and threw away—of course I did them out of the garbage bc I wanted to see what would happen)—have tons of green shoots. Maybe they will bloom/ maybe they won’t. But I’m🤞, the “garbage rhyzomes” will bloom some.

Maybe Safeway is the Publix of CA! Good flowers! I also like they have bundles of 3/$12

We divided a huge bed/clump in August and these are the last ones I didn’t plant. Abt 10.

I’m determined to learn a monstera plant this year! Or at least 2026!

I didn’t know they existed until I researched the history of the Center! And then learned there literally is a grove of Osage Orange trees in the center of town! Ive never actually taken an Osage Orange home to examine or eat it. Maybe I should research it too! But thank you for posting abt it!!

In my hometown, there is a center called “Orange Grove” for children with intellectual and physical challenges. I learned its name originates from the Osage Orange. I can never see an Osage Orange without thinking of the families and children and the origins/ good work of that center.

I love your arbor and birdhouse. I feel peaceful from here, simply visualizing your garden in bloom
