He's probably not all that important but idk if I would have liked to see him in the epilogue or something even if he's just in the background seeing all this chaos go down

I don't think I'll re-read it again but if it got adapted into a horror anthology movie or something I'd watch it

I think it has charm, it just overstays it's welcome. Some of these novellas feel like they go on forever. Some of them didn't need the changing povs

I'm also kinda disappointed+

that it felt more experimental and philosophical than the other stories

But it's not one of my faves

Presto , the one about magic , is a little silly for my taste. And the last one about the hedges is alright and a better conclusion than the actual epilogue

But overall it's kinda fun+

The 6 novellas that make up a good portion of the book tho ? Not so much

I like the first two , the description of the north woods in the 3rd one was kinda tense but everything after that isn't really all that scary

The 5th novella with dirk and his two jobs was kinda interesting in the sense+

Idk how I feel about that backstory and hearing how much it rains in goblin started to get on my nerves after the 500th time

But other than it kinda gives me goosebumps vibes which I didn't entirely hate

I think the prologue is the strongest writing wise tho, it actually had me a little tense.+

Finished Goblin finally and it's alright. Goblin, the fictional town, itself is kinda interesting. Ofc it's history made me roll my eyes a little bit bc it's kinda adjacent to the whole "this town was built on native land and therefore supernatural stuff happens" thing that stories do sometimes+

So I can't help but wonder what is left for me to enjoy ?

I still like heroes but none of the hero stuff appeals to me like that

Idk am I making sense ?

or if there's a space for me in it bc nothing really appeals to me

I don't wanna watch the latest seasons of Kamen rider, super Sentai, or Ultraman

Not that there's anything wrong with them I just don't care about flashy fights ( even if they are kinda cool sometimes ), new forms, or any of that+

I might delete this later but my relationship with toku is so messy now. For a year or 2 I just stopped watching and now I'm back with watching power rangers

Idk if that technically counts but whatever

And I have started one Sentai season kind of but i still don't know if I like toku+

Yeah, there's a difference between hating a a season just versus maybe just not being interested in that specific season or having some opinions that aren't constantly hyping the season up as the greatest thing since sliced bread

I feel like hype in general has kinda ruined things a bit

Yeah the toxic positivity thing is getting old now. Yes, maybe some series are over hype and maybe some people do really love every season

But not every season is perfect or above criticism plus sometimes criticism comes from a place of love

Haven't even been at my current job that long and I hate it so much

Not the work itself bc it's not that hard even if some customers can be annoying , I just dislike management and idk if how much I'm getting paid is worth it

Finished the two parter

Love Eric's inclusion bc it adds a bit more to the show and keeps things kinda interesting but I wish I could hit him in the jaw

Wes has a good heart tho, even tho his team stuck by him he was thinking about what might be best for them even if means ditching him

2nd one looks awesome

Learned my lesson, i need better spending habits. I shouldn't ordered food like 3 times ;^;

I never minded her there and certainly don't mind her character overall but yeah, she gets a ton of hate. I think mainly for her crush on Sonic
