Manna delivers junk food only. It does not deliver medication or anything else.

This beggars belief.

But MS always make much of their long term involvement in Ireland etc. Maybe it’s the embarrassment of having to explain Copilot???

The Gist: A Balancing Act The Minister for Justice wants to break the EU’s encrypted messaging security. This is the Gist

"Simon Harris had denounced the Deskerati as a shadowy force of people with terrifying horizontal wooden surfaces at their disposal, preventing him from bringing in facial recognition via CCTV."

The right to speed is enshrined in the constitution

I think the problem is that the same nonsense is trotted out - hi viz, mandatory plastic hats, number plates, tax, insurance? Put them all in place tomorrow and let’s say you have widespread adoption. There will be no change in the stats and there’ll be a new set of things that cyclists must do.

Well we still use some software that would give us digital uniqueness if not sovereignty …

High viz would have solved the problem if the bright yellow poles.

I have been to said museum (the GDR one). Ultimately we do face a challenge that we will have to have some form of digital ID and some entity will have to operate it. We shouldn’t require it for big standard access to services though.

I would share the same sentiment but this is not to be conflated with an under 16s ban which has merit and more regulation of the behaviours of tech companies.

Effectively they were but not maliciously. It exposes the fact that these companies can not keep your information safe and should not be collecting it in the first place.

Sold out in a flash too. I heard it announced on @8radioireland.bsky.social and tix gone once I looked. Both venues would be great places to see them.

I presume that this is a ploy to give a headline that Europeans have poor healthcare and the cult will just take that headline.

If they want reg plates then ultimately we’ll all end up paying for it. They should be careful what they wish for. Having said that if motorists are so keen on it they’ll be happy to fund it.

And even if you have a landline it’s not the copper wire one you used to have.

However I think that the Gov have built their own data centre rather than relying on commercial companies which is a good step. I think it should be more about not being fully dependent or hostage and having options rather than being 100% independent.

Given the Oireachtas is only moving off Lotus Notes to MS 365 this is probably unwelcome news.

Pumping saltwater up and down probably not great idea. The one thing about Turlough hill is that it was a huge engineering project and demonstrated vision which is lacking these days.

Sure but would Turlough Hill not be an example of how it blends in post construction. You would hardly know it is there now.
