Better kickstand does sound nice, the original one always felt flimsy to me. I think the lack of a performance bump wouldn't be an issue for me since I generally prefer to play smaller-scale titles anyway, though it's a shame that Grezzo didn't just cap the framerate for their Switch Zelda titles

Also not interested in getting a Switch 2 (at least anytime soon) so I feel like I might as well get a Switch OLED and check out the titles I missed.

Is it worth upgrading from a 2017 Switch to the OLED? Haven’t touched my Switch in a long while but I know the backlog is insane and I’d like to dig into some of that. I’ve always preferred docked mode but the improved battery life and screen quality seem enticing for handheld play.

Using a 3rd gen SE as my primary phone and it's honestly pretty great. The smaller build and home button makes it feels more ergonomic than anything post iPhone X imo

I think I’m completely disinterested in mainstream gaming at this point because I could not care less about the Switch 2 reveal, not to mention that I have zero reason to pick up a PS5 or Xbox Series X/S lol

To my speedrunning followers, would anyone be interested if I were to pursue content creation surrounding technical aspects of SMB1/2J? Could take the form of a blog or periodic videos. Just feel like there’s a lot of interesting information that would otherwise be lost in Discord messages.

Yeah, that was kind of how I felt watching it. Plenty experimental and certainly unique but I didn’t end up enjoying it that much. To each their own though, I understand why it’s garnered a solid fanbase.
