I broke my hand in a bad car accident and it put a lot of things in perspective for me. The fact that a broken bone is hurting me less than the pain I feel on a daily basis as a chronically ill person really is an emotional realization.

If it's not a perfectionism movement, then using phrases like "rightfully guilty" should not be part of the vocabulary used. The language you are using screams that anything less than perfection is a failure of both the movement and the individual, so again please stop with the gaslighting.

And I am disabled. But you are asking me to put extra work into a major lifestyle change while barely function as it is, then claiming that I am the one stifling victims. You are ableist.

I'm saying that until there is true accessibility in your "justice movement" it would likely be a lot more helpful to shift your focus away from guilt trips and towards fighting for accessibility. Otherwise you're just being ableist/classist.

And what about people who are allergic to cheap protein alternatives like nuts or soy? And people like me who are not physically capable of preparing meals consistently and can't afford the vegan alternatives for prepared meals? Make veganism accessible before resorting to guilt trips.
