The things people say that annoy! The dental assistant telling me "you will have to remove your mask". "REALLY???" I was shocked. Had no idea to work inside my mouth I must remove mask? I was waiting for dentist to come in...always wait until last second! Good for your son!

Let me be clear. As someone who has been professionally involved with the biodefense / biosecurity sector for nearly 20 years, and has worked on biological risk analysis for Covid-19 since early 2020, reducing one's risk of being infected is not health anxiety. It's just smart.

Unpopular opinion (?) but for people in ON or QC I do NOT recommend the mobile mole bus.

All they do is advertise their corporate sponsor and then tell you to see your family doctor.

A complete waste of time. Yet people are lining up for hours thinking they're getting a real health service.

Fundamentally, the reason I avoid Covid is because all - all - of the elements of my life that bring me joy and fulfillment rest on my cardiovascular fitness and / or my cognition. I'm not going to risk a virus wrecking that, as I've seen happen to way too many people I know.

Love it when there’s an airborne, organ-damaging virus on the loose & the government tells me to wash my hands and get back to the office. Really great stuff. What could possibly go wrong down the road?

You might be β€œdone” with COVID, but it’s not done w/ you

COVID isn’t even done w/ you after your acute infection

#LongCOVID symptoms can appear weeks or months after your initial infection

It can exacerbate any pre-existing condition / cause new conditions (physical AND mental health conditions)

We already have outbreak after outbreak in LTC (ON) now 5 covid outbreaks in Niagara region (3 are LTC homes)-my Mom's in "suspect" outbreak unknown respiratory. We are not protecting them at all. Outbreak #14 in the 24 months my Mom in LTC. Have not seen a PSW mask in long time. So frustrating.

COVID outbreak blamed for Sydney Airport chaos A COVID wave through Sydney Airport's control tower has left airlines furious and passengers stranded.

In my experience, the general public often don't understand the extent to which critical infrastructure systems rely on very small groups of highly-trained individuals.

In addition, some of these controllers will have lingering cognitive effects.

We have been in several hospitals(ON) the past 2 years and most HCW unmasked even cardiologists and staff in ICU. So hard to understand how they just can't/won't mask. First check up after heart surgery HCW did extra clean of her stethoscope as she breathed open faced on my husband.
