I spent the last 3 week putting together a comic in my own personal style and flow just to see if I could. I wanted to set up an interesting world similar to comic I read growing up.

Game one of this year is well underway.
I have decided to make all the art myself, which is talking a while, but it is coming along well.

I'm thinking of making a game a month next year.
All small, all based around a small concept.
Working out if I should do the art myself, or find someone to join me in this adventure.

I had a game where you pilot a robot against other robots. And after 60 seconds time rewinds and you play again alongside the recording of your previous playthrough.
The catch is if your previous self got killed, you can kill that enemy before it kills you causing fun paradoxes.

My name is Ben, I specialise in education through play and have worked on a number of games for many clients.

I also teach, mentor, and work in and around the Australian game dev scene.

While it's not perfect, It is a great way to get started.
I'm enjoying reading random posts from game Devs asking the world.
I'm sure I'll start to add and remove people with a bit more care down the line, but for now most of us are just looking for a way to get our new feeds churning again.

4. When teaching people new board games, you can reliably know that everyone has the monopoly mechanics fundamentals.

And using that there are lots of really good games that are just a small step up in complexity that you can teach really easily because of it.
