The top three things Jesus was on about were feeding the hungry, healing the sick, and welcoming the stranger. Rich men have convinced so-called Christians to starve the hungry, gut health care, and deport the stranger to enrich themselves. Itโ€™s astoundingly anti-Christ.

This is depressing for our children. Because until we actually realise that in the words of Billy Joel ''We did'nt start the fire' these issues in British political history will always dog our country.
And it will continue as long as unionist voters embrace Farage & his sycophantic Reform party.

NHS money pilfered by PFI and privatisation

But ... Govts have fiscal rules and don't want to tax the rich.

Why is Labour talking total economic nonsense to justify its desperate desire to keep children in poverty? Bridget Phillipson MP, who is the Education Secretary, is telling the morning media rounds that if the government were to restore the winter fuel allowance, and remove the two-child benefit cap, then ...

Labour is claiming that taking children and pensioners out of deep poverty will create economic collapse in the UK. That is total and utter drivel of the highest order. www.taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2025/05...

10 times Nigel Farage failed working people

He wants to scrap the NHS and make working people pay more, by moving to an โ€˜insurance-based system of healthcareโ€™.
Farage has been taking advice from Liz Truss, whose mini-budget crashed the economy and sent mortgages spiralling for working people. He praised her disastrous mini-budget as โ€˜the best Conservative budget since 1986โ€™.

Called for car workers to lose their jobs saying British success story Jaguar Land Rover โ€˜deserveโ€™ to go bust.

Nigel Farage and Reform voted against the biggest expansion of workersโ€™ rights in decades.

Reformโ€™s manifesto last summer promised nearly ยฃ90bn in tax cuts, but included no detail on how to pay for them. Reform have no plan beyond crashing the economy and leaving working people to pick up the tab.

Farageโ€™s Party oppose Labourโ€™s plans to give more money to schools.

Ignores his constituents in Clacton in favour of at least 8 trips to the USA since the election and more than 800 hours of non-MP work.

Farage admires Putin and wants to ban Ukraine flags on townhalls. He thinks the EU and Nato provoked Russiaโ€™s illegal invasion of Ukraine, which has pushed up energy prices and hit working people's pockets hard.

Reformโ€™s ideological opposition to secure, home grown energy has put local investment and jobs at risk. In Lincolnshire, for instance, secure energy technology has added nearly ยฃ1bn and more than 12,000 jobs to the local economy.

Farageโ€™s backwards views on maternity pay will affect working mums. He tweeted that โ€œthe European Parliament, in their foolishness, have voted for increased maternity pay. I'm off for a drink.โ€

This feels terminal. The breaches of trust have been so frequent, so vast and so decisive that the voters Labour has already lost are unlikely to return. In one forum after another, I hear the same sentiments: โ€œI voted for change, not the same or worse.โ€ โ€œIโ€™ve voted Labour all my life, but thatโ€™s it for me.โ€ โ€œI feel Iโ€™ve been had.โ€

Itโ€™s not dissatisfaction. Itโ€™s not disillusionment. Itโ€™s revulsion: visceral fury, anger on a level Iโ€™ve seldom seen before, even towards Tory cruelties. Why? Because these are Tory cruelties, delivered by a party that claimed to be the only alternative, in our first-past-the-post electoral system.

This article is a tough, tough read if you are a Labour supporter...

But unless your plan for the next 4 years is to live in a little bubble of self-delusion then watch the party you support disappear into oblivion, you need to.

Bitter medicine, but necessary.

Yet again Guardian overlooks Zone Fever.
